Anna West provides strategic guidance and public involvement expertise on projects related to water, energy, environmental, and natural resource issues. Anna West’s expertise spans energy, water, and natural resources, bringing proven capabilities in collaborative solutions. As a senior mediator, she leads facilitation and mediation processes for complex, multi-sector projects involving state and federal agencies, utilities, and water districts. She works to achieve sustainable outcomes to the extent feasible. Anna has coordinated complex collaborative processes addressing the National Environmental Policy Act, State Environmental Policy Acts, Endangered Species Act, the Federal Power Act, the Clean Water Act, and many other federal and state laws. She has also negotiated several settlement agreements for hydropower relicensings, including the Oroville Facilities Project in California, and shas served as a strategic advisor for a national collaborative with the Tribes, hydropower industry, environmental nongovernmental organizations and state and federal agencies on hydropower, river restoration and public safety.
